Fresh Herbs Group – 2008 Campaign
Following the success of the first ever PR campaign to support Fresh Herbs, the Fresh Herbs Group - R&G Fresh Herb, Humber VHB, Lighthorne Herbs, Scotherbs, Swedeponic, Arava and Agrexco, have united again to invest in PR support with the ultimate aim of growing the category.
Fresh Herbs who collectively represent 90% of fresh culinary herbs sold in the nations’ supermarkets will continue to raise the profile of fresh herbs in the UK and increase customer purchasing.
The campaign will focus on educating consumers and more specifically ‘young professionals’ about how to use fresh herbs, highlighting the health benefits to encourage trial and experimentation to drive sales.
Mathew Prestwich, a spokesperson for Fresh Herbs commented: “Last year’s campaign was a huge success, the category has continued to grow at a significant rate which demonstrates that there’s no better time to use PR to push our messages and encourage more people to experiment with fresh herbs.
