How to grow Mint

Mint grows best in moist conditions. Keep the compost moist to the touch. Remove mint sprigs down to a side shoot and use whole, or remove leaves and chop.

Harvest the outer-most stems of mint and any branches that are shading other plants, as well as the tallest stems that are growing into the lights. Cut mint just above a set of leaves (growth point) and not more than half way down the stem.
